Baseline Survey
Our baseline survey helps us understand household needs and track progress across education, health, livelihoods, women empowerment, and child welfare programs in the Kurnool region.
Why we conduct a baseline survey
A baseline survey is the starting point for effective community work. It helps KDSSS identify priority needs, plan the right support, and measure change over time—so resources reach the families who need them most.
What we collect
Survey focus areas
We gather only the information needed to understand needs, connect families to services, and evaluate outcomes. Data is used to improve program planning and reporting.
Household profile
Basic household details, living conditions, and key challenges to understand the context of each family.
Education & child wellbeing
School attendance, learning needs, child protection concerns, and access to nutrition and care.
Health & access to services
Health awareness, access to basic care, disability or chronic conditions, and barriers to treatment.
Livelihoods & women empowerment
Skills, income sources, employment stability, self-help group participation, and opportunities for training and support.
How the survey supports our programs
Baseline findings guide where we serve, what we prioritize, and how we track progress with communities.
Education Programs

Health Programs
Understand health risks and improve access to awareness and basic care.
